Present in over110 countries and territories and with over 60,000 members, AIESEC is the world's largest student-run organization recognized by the UN. Focused on providing a platform for youth leadership development, AIESEC offers young people the opportunity to be global citizens, and along the way to develop their leadership and soft skills.

E‐summit 2012, an AIESEC Mumbai initiative focuses how to CREATE a new idea rather than BUILD on an existing one. This event attempts to educate budding entrepreneurs on the various topics like how to create a “B-plan”? , case studies and successful startups, how to raise for your startup?, What should your pitch contain?, How do you bootstrap your business?, How to create a brand for your startup?, How to become a successful entrepreneur?. It highlights the importance of starting early and believing in your business plans.

It creates a networking hub for people from varied domains including venture capitalists, budding entrepreneurs, incubators, mentors and students from all across the city. Thus it provides guidance and opportunities to the youth to build successful ventures. E-summit’s ‘B-Plan’ competition is a platform for students to get a chance to empower their business plans and convert their dreams to reality.

So if you’re ready to shed your fears and make a mark in the world, make sure you attend AIESEC Mumbai’s Entrepreneurship Summit 2012.

“To any entrepreneur: if you want to do it, do it now. If you don’t, you’re going to regret it.” – Catherine Cook

So why miss an opportunity? Start Early, finish strong.

And so here at AIESEC we give the youth of the city a chance to awaken the inner entrepreneur in them. Are you the kind of a person who has brilliant ideas, who as a kid dreamed of doing something Big? You still can, because those dreams are the driving force to innovation, success and most importantly making a difference, making a better world.

We bring to you E-SUMMIT an initiative of AIESEC where we give aspiring entrepreneurs that little push which will lead them to achieve their goals.

Throughout the month of September various workshops will be conducted at colleges all over Mumbai. This will give students an opportunity to interact with the corporate mass of the city. The speakers will enlighten the students with a little more information about entrepreneurship so that the students can develop their entrepreneurial instincts and help them climb one more step towards success.

In the 1980s, inspired by his house owner’s idea of giving auto-rickshaws on rent Avinash Bhosale , a resident of Pune, then 17, borrowed Rs 10,000 from his father and bought an auto-rickshaw and gave it out on rent. In just six months this young entrepreneur had three auto-rickshaws. And he dint stop there, his goal was something bigger than renting auto-rickshaw’s. His journey as a builder began with another builder who taught him the nitty-gritty of the real estate business.

Today he owns a helicopter, 3 luxury cars among many other things.  This guy is just one example. There are millions out there, Steve Jobs, Oprah Winfrey, J.K Rowling who took the risk and have succeeded.

And what could be better than a platform to do so?  We have the B-Plan competition supported by Freemont Ventures where the top 3 entries will get incubation and the winning entry will get the opportunity to get funded to start up their own business. So come be a part of this Mega Event and walk away with a brighter future.
